HUMAN Healthy Vending Machines

Have you ever stood at a vending machine wishing there were a healthier option? Well Sean Kelly has, and as a result he created HUMAN Healthy Vending.  HUMAN Healthy Vending manufactures vending machines that contain local fruits and healthy foods.  This initiative was created so that people “on the go” can have less fattening options and support local farmers.  Not only do these machines provide people with healthy food options, they are also energy efficient and consume 30% less energy than a regular vending machine.

Did you know that approximately 17% of children in the United States between the ages of 2 and 19 are obese and 33.8% of adults in the United States are obese?  By placing HUMAN vending machines in schools, gyms and communities, the eco-friendly company is promoting the fight again childhood obesity.  HUMAN Healthy Vending machines are kid-friendly with bright colors and cartoon-like graphics to catch the eyes of adolescences.

The machines have LCD screens that share nutritional information to educate the purchaser.  Some of the products found in these vending machines are low fat organic potato chips, homemade granola, Nutrition bars, and coconut water.
