Pin Us! GEF is now on Pinterest!

Have you joined the biggest craze in social media since Facebook? Over the past year, Pinterest has grown from virtual obscurity to a top 100 site, with 11.7 million unique monthly US visitors. Furthermore, 9 percent of the pinboards are categorized as Inspiration/Education!  For the first time, educators and education providers have a space of their own to collaborate, share best practices, find great deals and be inspired. From free lessons, to paid for curriculum, to fun classroom crafts, to healthy snack ideas, the useful and relevant pinboards seem endless!

Recently, we at GEF created our own Pinterest account and have been busy gathering resources we feel are interesting and useful all about education and sustainability. This includes healthy snacks for kids, our free Clearinghouse lessons, eco-facts, gardening tips, and strategies to lead a more sustainable lifestyle. Won’t you follow us?
