We love giving out free stuff! Especially if that free stuff is easy to access, online sustainability education! Our latest free course sample is a course within the Sustainability Apprentice Certificate, a collection of sustainability focused multi-media courses to be used as employee training, general interest education, or classroom teaching tools. Each short course within the certificate program series is comprised of a short video (3-5 minutes), supplementary reading, three question quiz, and a take-home action. The whole thing should take 10-15 minutes. Check it out!
The sample course, What is Sustainability, discusses the fundamentals of sustainability, specifically the triple bottom line principle, and how it impacts the world around us. Click to access the free sample and login using the user name sustainability and the password freesample. Upon completion you’ll be prompted to fill out a brief survey about the course. Those who finish the survey will be entered in a raffle to win discounts from GEF Institute!
There are currently seven courses available in this series and you’re required to complete five to earn the Apprentice Certificate. Access to all seven courses costs $15. To discuss group purchasing options, email support@gefinstitute.org. You can also learn more about the Sustainability Apprentice Certificate on the Institute’s website.
